How To Avoid Truck Accidents
There’s no way to completely prevent truck accidents from happening, but there are a few ways to reduce your risk of being involved in these tragic accidents. Always be mindful of where you are driving, and try to avoid driving near large trucks.
If you do end up driving near a large truck, be sure to leave plenty of space between you and the truck so the driver has room to change lanes or turn without colliding into you. You should always use turning signals, but this is even more important if you are around a truck so the driver knows what direction you intend on going.
Keep in mind that truck drivers do not always see you, even if you can clearly see their truck. If you cannot see a truck driver’s side mirrors or can’t get a clear view of the driver behind the wheel, this means your car is within the driver’s blind spot.
