What Are Georgia’s Rules About Modulating Headlights?
If you are a biker, you may have some questions about modulating
headlights. Luckily, our Atlanta motorcycle accident law

So, does Georgia law allow modulating headlights? And if so, what

Braking And Cornering: A Refresher For Staying Safe

that I saw all online, and it’s about a guy who had recently got
back into riding bikes. He was a big bike rider in the ’70s and was
out of it for about 20 years.

Does Georgia Need To Change Their Helmet Laws?
I’m going to talk about a heated debate that I recently had about
the ever-controversial helmet issue. The other party said to me that
he thought that the Georgia helmet law ought to go to the Texas
model, and perhaps modified a little bit.
First, let me tell you what the Texas model is, and then I’ll tell
you what my response was as a motorcycle accident attorney.
Texas helmet law says anyone under 21 has to wear DOT-approved
motorcycle helmets. If you’re over 21, you don’t have to wear a
helmet, and therefore it’s not against the law to not wear one if
you do one of two things: you take a safety course or you have
medical insurance of at least $10,000.
So that was his response, “Hey, we ought to make it free will and
require riders to have a certain amount of coverage and then they
can make the choice,” and I understand that. Being probably more of

myth. The myth that I have for you today is that streets and
roadways are safer than the highway for motorcyclists. As an

in general to be monitoring recalls. As motorcycle accident
lawyers, I know that you’re supposed to be getting recall
information in the mail, sometimes by e-mail as well, but it’s
always good to monitor these types of things through discussion
boards, or on the internet.
You may have already heard about it, but this recall is affecting
about 238,000 Harley Davidson bikes between 2017 and 2018 models,
and it’s yet again another clutch issue with Harley Davidson. If you
recall, there’s been several clutch recalls in the past, not these

month from the Governors Highway Safety Association on crashes in
2017 and more specifically, fatalities involving motorcyclists.

motorcyclist deaths last year from vehicle collisions. As

Unendorsed Riders – What We Can Learn From The Michigan Initiative
Today, my motorcycle accident law firm in Cumming wants to
talk about what the state of Michigan did several years ago to
combat the unendorsed motorcycle rider issue in that state. I also
want to discuss the takeaways of this and how they relate to bikers
in the state of Georgia and how we can remain as safe as possible

What Was The Initiative In The State Of Michigan?
First, let me explain this initiative a bit more. What Michigan
found was they had a motorcycle population, roughly 20%, that were

The correlation they found was while only 20% of the population were
